About me
I am Bjørn Boge. Systems carpenter, process leader, and advisor. I translate between needs, practice, and policy.
I help professional clients see clearly through the fog. With 40 years of experience and a systematic method, we find the core of the need and develop sustainable solutions.
How We Work with School Buildings
Good schools start with the right questions. What is the current situation? What goals do we have? Are there other ways to meet the needs than building new, large, or expensive facilities?
THE PROCESS
Mapping the current situation and strategic direction
We examine existing buildings, functions, needs, and resources. Together, we determine what truly needs to be addressed – and how to do it in the best way.
User Mapping and Involvement
We involve owners, users, and operations early on – before anything is set in stone. This creates ownership, insight, and fewer surprises.
Function Descriptions
Based on users’ needs, we define functions and performances. Among other tools, I use seven ergonomic parameters to specify the requirements.
Requirement Specification
The result is a management tool – a clear specification that everyone can understand, reducing risks and rework.
Ongoing Support
We can also develop training or process management to build internal competence and ownership.
